LGBTQ+ Jews often trip over homophobic, heteronormative, and hierarchical aspects of the Jewish heritage. In hevruta pairs and in a group as a whole, we will queer traditional texts and engage in imaginative exercises to reframe aspects of Jewish traditions. The objective will be to prepare participants to continue this sacred, lifelong project.
